This hidden gem exceeded all my expectations. the beautiful scenery and close, knit community provided a warm and authentic experience. the friendly staff and comfortable bedding made me feel at home. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and drinks in the well, designed lobby. the traditional Japanese room was cozy and comfortable.
The lack of curtains in the room made privacy a bit of a challenge. Dinner options in the area were extremely limited, and the absence of a kitchen made dining challenging.

Clean and peaceful hostel in a quaint town. The people in the town are very accommodating and nice. There is a good onsen that is big and comfortable. The location is decent and there are historic sites to visit. They have a fluent English speaking owner who is very pleasant.
The town was closed during Easter weekend and there was nothing to do. It was very dull and boring.
